Stewardship Campaign 2022
God has given our congregation Grace to care for that which He has given us!
Your generous contributions at work -
The Vestry recognized that our property had reached a point where major maintenance was required. The accessibility project was completed on budget, funded by the Legacy/Endowment.with shiny new paving, railings and ramps. A new Sanctuary roof was completed as well as:
Investment in technology means that we are now reaching a very geographically spread-out community. It means we can be together without being together.
By 2021 year end, thankfully, operating income was greater than expenses. The Vestry opted to use the excess to replenish the Maintenance Reserve to support future repairs and replacements.
Your kind contributions for relief and community needs were guided by the outreach commission.
2022 Going Forward
At the Annual Meeting in February we will ask for approval of a 2022 operating budget of almost $348,000. Most of our expected spending
is non-discretionary. Costs for utilities, insurance and services have increased. The Vestry feels that it is important to provide cost of living increases for staff as well. You are the key to our being able to meet our obligations in the coming year.
There are five ways that you can contribute so that we can have a financially successful 2022. We need your operational support. It is easy for you to use one of the following:
If you would like information on how to use any of these methods, please contact Sandy Wood at (443) 786-0411 or the office at (941) 383-8161 or by Email at [email protected] and we will work together to make it happen.
The Vestry, staff and those with spending authority are committed to being thoughtful and careful stewards of All Angels funds. We ask you to continue to contribute to the ministries of All Angels throughout this year so that we can continue to bring the Living Christ to those inside and outside the church. Your contributions will ensure that All Angels by the Sea remains a wonderful church home.

Stewardship 2022 Kick-Off
Today is the Kickoff of our 2022 Stewardship Program. Next week our treasurer, Sandy Wood, will share our 2022 budget and explain the different ways you can contribute. I recently had to put one of my dogs down. Anyone who has had to make such a decision knows how heart wrenching it can be. During the last two weeks of her life I had the opportunity to speak to The Reverends Dave, Maggie, and Fred about having to make the decision, the joys of pet ownership, and grieving. Parishioners called, sent me emails and notes, sharing their own experiences and offering support. My All Angels family helped me navigate a difficult time. Last year at this time, we were returning to in-person services and I spoke of how wonderful it was to be able to physically sit in our church while viewing the altar, the stained glass window, and Fr. Dave. But obviously there is so much more to All Angels than the church building. This is where we:
It is my hope that each of you will think about what All Angels means in your life and that you will be willing to make a commitment (pledge) to help us to continue supporting our staff, our building and all our programs
